This article will teach you how to create refund policies and assign them to your digital products

Refund policies are viewed on the Checkout pages of the products you assign them to. Creating refund policies and assigning them to products ensures that your customers know what to expect. In case they decide to ask for a refund, you can always point them to the policy assigned to your product.

Creating a Refund Policy

To create a refund policy, head over to the Refund Policies page, and click on [New refund policy].

Let's go through the fields:

  • Name: this is the name of your refund policy, it's only for admin purposes and your customers won't see it.

  • Refund period + Period type: set how many days/weeks after the purchase the refund policy is valid.

  • Refund policy: this is a rich text editor to write your refund policy, you can use the example we gave you and make sure to replace the appropriate values with yours.

Setting Refund Policies to Products

When you go to the products list, and click on your product and navigate to the Checkout tab, you will find the Refund policy section. Select the appropriate refund policy:

Then your customers will be able to see the refund policy in your Checkout page, navigate to it, and read it.
